ATENIL S.A. and MIDORI EARTH sign strategic agreement to strengthen the technological management of the Chaco Vivo REDD+ Project

The Chaco Vivo REDD+ Project took a significant step in its digital transformation process with the signing of a cooperation agreement between ATENIL S.A. and MIDORI EARTH, a global company specializing in technological solutions for climate and conservation projects.

The alliance will incorporate advanced MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification) tools into the project’s operations, integrating artificial intelligence, document management, real-time monitoring and digital platforms oriented toward the carbon market.

Greater transparency and traceability for a regional-scale project

With this technological integration, Chaco Vivo, which protects more than 187,000 hectares of native forest in the Paraguayan Gran Chaco, strengthens its environmental management and governance standards, in line with the requirements of the international VCS and CCB certification frameworks.

A commitment to innovation in service of conservation

For the Chaco Vivo team, the alliance with MIDORI EARTH reflects a core conviction: forest conservation and technological innovation must go hand in hand. The agreement also contributes to positioning Paraguay and the Gran Chaco as regional benchmarks in climate solutions with global impact.
